๐Ÿšซ Contraindications

Qutomal Syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to quinine, history of optic neuritis, tinnitus, or myasthenia gravis. It should not be used in patients with prolonged QT interval or those taking certain antiarrhythmics. Avoid in pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and only under medical supervision.

Qutomal Syrup should be used with caution in patients with heart problems, liver or kidney disease, or hearing impairment. It may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) especially in severe malaria. Monitor for signs of bleeding if taking blood thinners. Do not use in patients with G6PD deficiency without medical advice.

In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms may include severe dizziness, fainting, seizures, irregular heartbeat, vision loss, or hearing loss. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. Gastric lavage may be considered if ingestion is recent.
