Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, as sucralfate contains aluminum which can accumulate. Avoid use in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction. Prolonged use may lead to bezoar formation. Inform your doctor if you have difficulty swallowing or persistent stomach pain.
