Ungliyaan sunn ho gayi! Kya khana chahiye haddi majboot karne ke liye?

Namaste doston. Aaj subah uthke hath dho raha tha to pata chala ki ungliyaan phir se sunn ho gayi hain. Cervical spondylosis ka dard to hai hi, lekin haddi kamjor hone se aur problem hoti hai. Main kuch din pehle ek homeopathy doctor ke paas gaya tha. Unhone kaha ki haddi majboot karne ke liye diet me calcium aur vitamin D ka dhyan rakhna chahiye. Maine socha aap logon se puchun: kya kha sakte hain jo asar kare? Ghar par to doodh, dahi, hara saag sab hai. Par kya aur bhi koi nuskha hai? Jaise makhana, til, ya badam ka doodh? Yoga se bhi haddi majboot hoti hai kya? Main roz Gomukhasana aur Bhujangasana karta hoon, lekin kya ye kaafi hai? Ek din pahle hi ek padosi ne kaha ki chana aur gur khao, calcium ke liye achha hai. To main soch raha hoon ki kya sach mein kaam karta hai? Aap log apne anubhav batayein. Bahut din se dard se pareshan hoon, lekin ummeed nahi chhodi. Shukriya.

Bank job ne pet badhaya, rishtey mein height ka bahana! Desk job ke saath belly fat ka simple ilaaj batao?

Yaar, ye bank job ne mera pet kamaal kar diya hai. 8-9 ghante chair pe baitho, lunch break me vahi parotta ya biryani kha lo, aur ghar aake so jaao. Result? 2 inch ka belly fat jo ab shirt ke button bhi nahi bandhne deta. Kal ek ladki ka rishta aaya tha, photo dekhi toh achi lag rahi thi, lekin woh log ghar aake dekh ke direct ‘height kam hai’ bol ke chale gaye. Asli baat pet hai, yaar! Gym join kiya tha mahine bhar pehle, lekin 4th din hi leg pain se chhod diya. Ab soch raha hoon kya karein. Koi simple remedy batao jo desk job ke saath bhi chal sake? Waise, maine kal hi ek try kiya – lunch ke baad 5 min walking karta hoon office me. Kya isse kuch hoga?

Vitamin D aur B12 deficiency ke asli karan aur superfoods

Namaste, and welcome to the Astitva Health Community. As your doctor, I often see patients who feel tired, weak, or have persistent body aches, and the root cause is often hiding in plain sight: deficiencies in Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. In India, these are not just common—they are a silent epidemic affecting millions. Let’s dive deep into the major symptoms and, more importantly, the natural superfoods that can help you reclaim your energy and bone health. Why are Vitamin D and B12 Deficiencies So Common in India? Despite living in a sun-drenched country, we have a paradox. We avoid the sun due to heat, pollution, or skin concerns, leading to Vitamin D deficiency. Meanwhile, our vegetarian and vegan diets, while rich in many nutrients, often lack Vitamin B12, which is primarily found in animal products. Add stress, poor gut health, and modern lifestyles, and the problem multiplies. Major Symptoms You Should Never Ignore Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms Bone and back pain: A dull, persistent ache in your lower back, hips, or legs. This is often mistaken for general fatigue or ageing. Frequent infections: If you catch colds, flu, or infections easily, your immune system may be weak due to low Vitamin D. Mood swings and depression: Vitamin D plays a key role in serotonin production. Low levels can lead to sadness or seasonal affective disorder. Hair loss: Especially in women, severe hair thinning or alopecia can be a sign. Slow wound healing: Cuts or bruises taking longer than usual to heal. Vitamin B12 Deficiency Symptoms Extreme fatigue and weakness: Feeling exhausted even after a full night's sleep. This is the most common sign. Tingling or numbness: A "pins and needles" sensation in your hands, feet, or legs. This is due to nerve damage. Memory problems and brain fog: Difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, or feeling "spaced out." Mouth ulcers and a smooth, red tongue: Glossitis (inflamed tongue) is a classic B12 sign. Pale or jaundiced skin: A yellowish tint to the skin or eyes can indicate B12 deficiency affecting red blood cells. Natural Superfoods to Boost Your Levels For Vitamin D: The Sun and Its Allies Sunlight (the best source): Expose your arms and legs to the morning sun (between 7 AM to 9 AM) for 15-20 minutes daily. No sunscreen during this short window. Fatty fish: Salmon, mackerel (bangda), and sardines (tarli) are excellent sources. Include them 2-3 times a week. Cod liver oil: A traditional Indian remedy. One teaspoon daily can provide a powerful dose. Mushrooms: Specifically, shiitake or UV-exposed mushrooms. Add them to your sabzi or soup. Fortified foods: Look for milk, curd, or plant-based milks fortified with Vitamin D. Many Indian brands now offer these. For Vitamin B12: The Plant-Based Powerhouses Dairy products: Fresh milk, curd (dahi), paneer, and buttermilk (chaas) are excellent sources for vegetarians. Eggs: Especially the yolk. Include 1-2 whole eggs daily. Fortified nutritional yeast: A fantastic vegan option. Sprinkle it on your roti, rice, or upma for a cheesy, B12-rich flavor. Fortified breakfast cereals: Many Indian brands now add B12. Check the label. Fermented foods: While not a primary source, foods like idli, dosa, and kimchi can support gut health, which helps B12 absorption. When to See a Doctor While these superfoods are powerful, they are not a replacement for medical advice. Please consult your doctor if: Your symptoms persist for more than 2-3 weeks despite dietary changes. You experience severe tingling, numbness, or weakness in your limbs. You have a history of gastric bypass surgery, Crohn’s disease, or chronic gastritis. You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or over 60 years of age. A simple blood test (Vitamin D 25-hydroxy and Vitamin B12 levels) can confirm the deficiency. Your doctor may recommend high-dose supplements or injections, especially for B12, as oral absorption can be poor in some cases. Remember, your health is your greatest wealth. Stay informed, eat well, and listen to your body. You are not alone in this journey—we are here for you at Astitva Health Community.
