PCOD sugar cravings at 11 PM? Mera dimaag ice cream vs healthy banana cocoa water mein phas gaya! Koi kaam ka remedy hai?

Ugh, itโ€™s 11 PM and Iโ€™m literally fighting with myself to not order a tub of ice cream. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ This PCOD mood swings are already killing me during the day, but late night? Thatโ€™s when the sugar cravings hit like a truck. I tried keeping fruits in my hostel fridge but honestly, after a long day of work, a cold apple just doesnโ€™t hit the same as something sweet and sinful. Yesterday I tried that โ€œhealthy dessertโ€ hackโ€”blended frozen banana with cocoa powder. Tasted like sad chocolate water tbh. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Anyone else here struggle with this? Koi kaam ka remedy hai kya? I donโ€™t want to eat chaat or paratha because thatโ€™s a whole different craving, but something sweet that wonโ€™t spike my hormones? Iโ€™m desperate yaar. Also, hostel mess ka gajar halwa is never available after 9 PM, so thatโ€™s a lost cause. Drop your tips please, Iโ€™m this close to raiding my roommateโ€™s stash of Dairy Milk Silk. ๐Ÿซ

6 mahine sober, beti ka bana chai piya, ruk jaaye ya dil toot jaaye? ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Yaar, aaj subah meri beti ne mujhe chai bana ke di. First time in 2 saal. Mera haath kaanp raha tha glass pakadte waqt, par usne kuch nahi bola. Bas thoda sa smile kiya. Mujhe rona aa gaya andar hi andar. Pati bolti hai "abhi bhi trust nahi aata, par dekh rahe hain". Woh sahi kehti hai. Main 15 saal nikal diya peene me, 6 mahine se sober hoon. Par relationship repair kaam toh abhi shuru hua hai. Kal raat maine family dinner me baat kari ki "mujhe maaf kar do", toh meri maa ne kaha "maafi toh humne de di, par wapas trust banana tera kaam hai". Sach bataun toh, kabhi lagta hai ki yeh shame kabhi nahi jayega. Par ek chhoti si remedy try kiya - har subah beti ke liye toast bana ke school bhejta hoon. Woh chhoti si habit ne thoda gap kam kiya hai. Koi aur hai jiska family relationship repair ka safar chal raha ho? Kaise cope karte ho jab past aake disturb kare?

Angioplasty ke baad statins se legs jal rahe hain, koi natural option hai ya doctor ki baat maanun?

Guys, need your advice. Post angioplasty, doctor has put me on high dose statins. LDL came down from 190 to 80 in 3 months, which is good, but the muscle pain is killing me. Specially in legs, feels like I ran a marathon when I just walked to the car. Also feeling a bit foggy mentally. Office me focus nahi aa raha. I want to talk to my cardiologist about reducing dose or switching to something else, like maybe Ezetimibe or just lifestyle changes. But my wife says "doctor ko challenge mat karo, woh jaan bachaye hai". But yaar, quality of life bhi toh chahiye. Has anyone here successfully controlled cholesterol without statins? I am doing strict diet now - no oil, no maida, only oats and dalia, and walking 40 mins daily. Will that be enough to keep LDL under 100? Or am I being stupid and should just tolerate the pain? Also, someone told me about red yeast rice and berberine. Is that effective or just another fad? Please share your honest experiences. Don't want to end up in ICU again but also don't want to live like a zombie.
