1. Clinical Overview

Akostol tablet likely contains atorvastatin (commonly 10mg or 20mg) – a statin used to lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk. Atorvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, decreasing LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. It is indicated for primary hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and prevention of cardiovascular events. Dosage: 10-80 mg daily. Usually taken with or without food at same time each day.

2. Side Effects

Possible side effects associated with Akostol Tablet:
