Mera ek chhota sa sapna hai – apne gaon jaake apni purani dosti yaad karoon, ek baar phir se woh pakode khaoon jo bachpan mein khaye the. Lekin ab ghar se nikalna mushkil ho raha hai. Family bhi tension mein hai, beta kehti hai, "Papa, aaram karo." Lekin main jaanta hoon, waqt kam hai. Kya koi yahan hai jisne ALS mein bhi kuch bada kiya ho? Mera aaj kal ka haal puchho na. Kal subah uthti hoon to legs mein woh familiar numbness. Phir dheere dheere paralysis shuru. Do teen ghante mein toh main bed se uth nahi paayi. Beta ro raha tha "Maa, aap ko wheelchair lena padega." Uska dil todna nahi chahti, but sach ye hai ki har 6 mahine ye relapse mujhe zameen par le aata hai. Currently neurologist ne prednisolone diya hai, aur physiotherapy bhi chal rahi hai. Walking frame se ghar mein chal leti hoon, but bahar jaana mushkil ho gaya hai. Pados mein sab puchte hain "Priya ji, aap thik ho?", aur main smile kar ke bolti hoon "Haan haan, bas thoda rest." Andar se toot rahi hoon. Family ka support hai but beta apni job aur ghar sambhalta hai. Kabhi lagta hai wheelchair le loon, toh independence rahegi. Kabhi lagta hai abhi bhi ummeed hai, shayad koi naya treatment aaye.
