1. Clinical Overview

Apale Tablet contains Nimesulide (100mg) and Paracetamol (325mg) for pain and fever. Nimesulide is an NSAID. Dose: 1 tablet twice daily after meals. Short-term use only due to hepatotoxicity risk with nimesulide. Avoid in children less than 12 years.

  • nausea
  • dyspepsia
  • diarrhea
  • dizziness
  • rash. Serious: hepatotoxicity
  • GI bleeding
  • renal impairment
  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome
  • anaphylaxis. Contraindicated in hepatic disease
  • peptic ulcer
  • severe renal disease
  • pregnancy (3rd trimester). Avoid alcohol.
