Altris GEL is a topical preparation used in the treatment of insomnia and jet lag (a sleep disorder due to frequent travel to different time zones).Altris GEL is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It must be applied before bedtime. It may take several days to weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly. The course of the treatment should be completed to ensure better efficacy of the medicine. This medicine is generally safe to use with no common side effects.  Avoid getting this medication in the eyes, mouth or nose.
