Do not use Livorig 500mg Tablet in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or any fluoroquinolone. It is contraindicated in patients with myasthenia gravis, history of tendon disorders related to fluoroquinolones, and in children and adolescents (due to risk of joint damage). Also avoid in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary.

Levofloxacin can cause tendonitis and tendon rupture, especially in older adults, those on corticosteroids, and patients with kidney, heart, or lung transplants. Avoid use in patients with myasthenia gravis as it may worsen muscle weakness. It may also cause peripheral neuropathy, CNS effects (dizziness, seizures), and QT prolongation. Use caution in patients with renal impairment, seizure disorders, or known QT prolongation. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen.

In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms may include dizziness, confusion, seizures, and irregular heartbeat. Treatment is supportive and symptomatic; no specific antidote exists. Hemodialysis may not be effective.
