Speech therapy ya time waste? Awaaz kho raha hoon, kya koi fayda hai?
Doston, aaj speech therapy session tha. Bohot mushkil ho raha hai. Pehle to meri awaaz hi thodi badal gayi hai, ab toh bolne mein bhi time lagta hai. Therapist ne kuch exercises di hain - tongue ko upar neeche karne, lips ko tight karne, aur breathing exercises. Lekin honestly, kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki ye sab bekar hai. Jaise main apni awaaz kho raha hoon, dheere dheere.
Family ke saath bhi problem ho rahi hai. Mera beta, jo Mumbai mein rehta hai, roj phone karta hai. Pehle toh main baat kar leta tha, ab toh usse kehna padta hai ki "dhairya rakh, main slow bol raha hoon." Woh tension mein aa jata hai. Aur biwi roj kehti hai ki "tum apni awaaz zor se nikalo, main sun nahi pa rahi." Lekin main kya karoon, awaaz hi nahi nikal rahi.
Ek sawaal hai mujhe: Kya speech therapy se actually koi fayda hota hai? Ya bas time waste hai? Kisi ko experience ho toh share karo. Main soch raha hoon ki agle mahine ek new therapist try karoon, lekin confidence nahi hai. ALS ke saath jee raha hoon, har din ek naya challenge hai.
