Exam ke 2 din pehle panic attack aaya, 4-7-8 breathing ne bachaya kya? Parents ko kaise samjhaun anxiety real hai? Tips do bhai 😭

Okay so I have this huge exam in 2 days and my brain is literally fried. Started having this random panic attack during study time, heart racing, feeling like I'm gonna pass out. My mom saw me and was like "bas natak mat kar, padh le" 😭 like yeah this is definitely a choice I'm making to feel like dying rn. Anyway I remembered someone told me about the 4-7-8 breathing thing? Like inhale 4 sec, hold 7, exhale 8. Tried it for a few mins and honestly it kinda helped calm me down a little. Not a miracle but at least I could breathe normally again. Does anyone else do this or have better techniques? Also how do y'all explain to parents that anxiety is real and not just "attention seeking"?? Asking for a friend (me, it's me). Pls share tips, I'm desperate atp.
