Understanding Fever Patterns

Fever is a sign that your body is fighting an infection. Different fever patterns can indicate different conditions:

• Continuous Fever: Temperature stays above normal throughout the day. May indicate typhoid, pneumonia, or urinary tract infection.
• Intermittent Fever: Temperature fluctuates, with periods of normal temperature. May indicate malaria, dengue, or sepsis.
• Remittent Fever: Temperature fluctuates but never returns to normal. May indicate viral infections or bronchitis.

Common Causes of Fever:

• Dengue Fever: High fever (104-105°F), severe headache, eye pain, joint pain, rash. May cause bleeding.
