1. Clinical Overview

Pyrolate Injection is an anticholinergic medication. It is used in the treatment of drooling or excessive salivation before operation and it even reverses the unwanted effects of certain medicines used during surgery (muscle relaxants). It also helps to treat peptic ulcers when oral medication is not tolerated.Pyrolate Injection is given by your doctor or nurse. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.Most common side effects of this medicine is dry mouth, blurred vision, dilation of the pupil, irregular heart rate, palpitations, reduced sweating, and inability to control urination. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, heart failure, and high blood pressure.
