Overview

A topical combination product containing the local anesthetic Lidocaine (1% w/w) and a hepatoprotective agent, Liver Fraction 2 (8g per 100g). Lidocaine provides rapid, reversible nerve blockade for pain relief, while Liver Fraction 2, derived from fresh porcine liver, is believed to provide essential amino acids, vitamins, and co-factors that may support cellular regeneration and metabolic function in damaged tissues. This combination is primarily used for symptomatic relief of pain and itching associated with various anorectal and dermatological conditions, with a proposed ancillary benefit of supporting tissue healing.

Lidocaine: Blocks voltage-gated sodium channels on neuronal membranes, inhibiting the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, leading to reversible loss of sensation (anesthesia).
