A topical otic preparation combining a local anesthetic (Benzocaine), an antiseptic/analgesic (Chlorbutol), an insecticidal agent (Paradichlorobenzene), and a counterirritant (Turpentine Oil). It is primarily indicated for the symptomatic relief of earache associated with otitis externa and for the management of ear canal myiasis (infestation by fly larvae). The formulation provides rapid analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and insecticidal effects.
Instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear, 2-3 times daily. Do not exceed 4 applications in 24 hours.
