Midterms ke beech panic attack aaya, mom ne kaha 'padh le' π Box breathing se thoda relief mila, kya ye long term kaam karta hai ya bas band-aid hai? Parents ko kaise samjhaun? Tips do yaar!
okay so i literally had a panic attack in the middle of studying for my midterms today π my heart was racing, i couldn't breathe, and my mom walked in and was like "kya bakwas kar rahi hai? padh le." like thanks mom, very helpful.
anyway, i've been trying this one breathing thing i found onlineβbox breathing? idk if that's the real name. you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold again for 4. did it like 5 times and honestly it kinda helped? i mean my hands were still shaky but at least i could think straight.
has anyone else tried something similar? like does it actually work long term or is it just a bandaid? because my anxiety is so bad that even breathing feels like a chore sometimes. also please tell me i'm not the only one whose parents think mental health is "attention seeking" π koi tips ho toh pls share, i'm desperate at this point.
