ERP therapy try kiya? Haath nahi dhona 10 min? OCD ka dar aur mummy ka 'pagal' bolna - please help karo 🙏
Mujhe pata hai ki yahan sab log apni struggles share karte hain, isliye main bhi thoda dil halka kar rahi hoon.
Kal maine finally ek therapist se baat ki jo ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) therapy suggest kar rahe hain. But honestly, bahut dar lagta hai. Unka kehna hai ki mujhe deliberately dirty surfaces touch karna hai aur fir 10 minute tak haath nahi dhona. Main sochti hoon to hi mera heart race karne lagta hai. Covid ke baad se yeh habit itni badh gayi hai ki mera haath ka skin dry ho raha hai, cracks aa gaye hain.
Ghar mein bhi problem hai. Mummy kehti hain "tu pagal ho gayi hai", unhe samajh nahi aata ki yeh dimaag ka game hai. Office mein bhi log notice karte hain, kabhi kabhi mujhe khud sharam aati hai.
Kya kisi ne ERP therapy try ki hai? Kya sach mein kaam karta hai? Main soch rahi hoon ki shayad try karun, lekin ek dum se itna extreme exposure... please koi apna experience share karo. Thoda guidance chahiye. 🙏
